Data science is a multidisciplinary field that applies various techniques of data analysis, including computational and statistical methods, data mining and knowledge discovery. Together with specific domain knowledge, these techniques are used to extract information and uncover hidden patterns, trends and correlations in large quantities of data collected from a diverse variety of sources. Data scientists provide competitive advantage and allow businesses and governments to apply knowledge and actionable insights across a broad range of application areas.
Qualification: Graduate Diploma
Course structure: To qualify for the Graduate Diploma in Data Science, a student must complete 36 units with a grade of P or NGP or better in each topic.
