Course Details
Westerns Bachelor of Occupational Therapy is an accredited program that prepares graduates for this highly regarded field. The first two years of the program combine studies in occupational therapy with a broad understanding of biomedicine, and various health science fields, to develop the professional competencies important for ethical and safe practice. The final two years focus predominately on occupational therapy practice skills, practical experience, and specialised areas. This program offers the flexibility of an honours stream for high performing students, as well as an early exit option, allowing students to graduate with a Bachelor of Health Science after three years. Graduate career-ready with 1,000 hours under your belt in a professional practice, which also meets the fieldwork guidelines of the World Federation of Occupational Therapists.
