Economics studies how individuals, businesses, and governments make trade offs when resources are limited. Economic critical thinking skills, combined with legal training, will allow you to analyse the behaviour of individual consumers and businesses, as well as governments and public policy. The analytical skills developed in the economics component of the degree are valuable problem solving tools, critical in business and public policy. This, coupled with legal skills, provides career opportunities in law, public policy, consulting, and banking.
