Professor Chris Heyde and Professor Joe Gani were well known and well regarded amongst their colleagues for their substantial contribution to many areas of Probability, Statistics and Stochastic Analysis during their lifetime. To honour their memory, the Chris Heyde & Joe Gani Scholarship has been established at the ANU to enable students to study and expand research into these fields. The Scholarships are funded by the interest on contributions from friends, colleagues, family and the ANU Endowment for Excellence. Two Scholarships will be offered annually subject to funds beings available.
