Job readiness and teaching students employability skills is a key focus in their programs. Practical training for healthcare programs are delivered in an actual Aged Care facility. This enables students to interact with professional staff and residents and to improve their employability skills. Yorke Institute arranges work placements for all healthcare courses at prestigious Aged Care facilities. The Dental Technology course is delivered from one of the largest commercial labs in Victoria. Students are placed on work placements on a rotational basis where they interact with professional technicians and work on real commercial cases.
