TAFE Queensland Gold Coast region has five central locations and provides nationally recognised and accredited qualifications, including apprenticeships, traineeships, certificates and advanced diplomas. With partnerships across a number of industry reference groups and Australian universities, all courses are designed to ensure graduates enter the workforce or university with relevant practical skills. TAFE Queensland Gold Coast region has a dedicated international team servicing its international students, as well as an IELTS testing facility. Students completing a specialised English program can enter directly into a certificate or diploma course. Free student support services and commercial training facilities are available. The Gold Coast has beaches, national parks, rainforests and a cosmopolitan lifestyle. It is 45 minutes by road from Brisbane, Queensland's capital, and has excellent medical facilities, food, public transport and educational services. A wide range of accommodation options is available or, with a homestay arrangement, students can live with an Australian family and practice their English skills.
