Established in 2013, Central Melbourne Institute is a Registered Training Organisation. It strives to offer affordable, high quality education in a friendly environment. The campus is equipped with modern style classrooms, library resources, student recreational areas including kitchen facilities and computer labs with free access to internet and email. The Institute regularly organises extra activities outside of class, which give students the opportunity to discover some of Australia's most beautiful places. All activities are run by Central Melbourne Institute staff members who ensure an English speaking environment at all times. Other activities include Conversation Club, Movie Club, Job Club and group sporting activities. The college meets standards agreed to by Federal and State Governments in Australia. The State Government registering authority monitors the college and subjects it to regular external audits to verify adherence to these standards. Central Melbourne Institute is fully compliant with the Australian Qualification and Training Framework (AQTF) standards. It also complies with the requirements for registration to provide courses to overseas students as specified in Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act 2000 and the National Code of Practice 2007 for Registration Authorities and Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students.
