Carnegie Mellon University is an American university established in 1900 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Carnegie Mellon University in Australia forms part of Carnegie Mellon's global footprint which includes campuses in Silicon Valley, Rwanda and Qatar. Carnegie Mellon Australia combines an American degree with an Australian experience. Located in Adelaide, the Carnegie Mellon Australia campus is home to students from over 20 countries. Carnegie Mellon students study an innovative curriculum, combined with global case studies, providing a firm foundation in theory, with a focus on practical skills delivered through industry projects, internships and convocations. Carnegie Mellon Australia offers two internationally-ranked master degrees, offered as 12 months and 21 months full-time (or part-time equivalent) programs. The 21 months track includes a compulsory 400-hour internship and an optional semester exchange in Pittsburgh: - Master of Science in Information Technology (Information Technology Management) - Master of Science in Information Technology (Business Intelligence and Data Analytics) - Master of Science in Public Policy and Management Two 21 months full-time global programs are also available; a Master of Information Systems Management and a Master of Science in Public Policy Management. Students study their 1st and 2nd study periods in Adelaide and 3rd and 4th in Pittsburgh.
