Course Details
This specialist program provides tax advisors and tax specialists with a solid grounding in taxation and compliance requirements to better support their clients within Australia. The program aims to develop an advanced taxation knowledge base and advanced professional skills in taxation, applied taxation, international taxation, revenue administration or taxation and financial planning.
Qualification: Master Degree (By Coursework)
Course structure: 8 courses (48 UOC), with a choice of 5 specialisations: Applied Taxation; International Taxation; Revenue Administration; Taxation; and Taxation and Financial Planning. The specialisation chosen will determine which courses are required for completion.
Students who did not complete a university level course of study in taxation as part of a bachelor degree, are required to complete a qualifying taxation course (TABL5901 or TABL5551) prior to commencing the Master of Taxation. The qualifying taxation course does not count towards the Master of Taxation. Students who are below the entry requirements to the Master of Taxation can be considered for the Graduate Certificate in Taxation as a pathway option (for Domestic students only).
