Course Details
This degree aims to use best practice educational methods to develop graduates who are competent, reflective and innovative practitioners in the field of Speech Pathology. Graduates will be equipped to begin practice in a wide range of health and educational settings, and fosters the ability of students to respond effectively to the changing nature of professional knowledge and practice to ensure their ability to provide quality services.
Qualification: Master Degree (By Coursework)
Course structure: Students complete eleven core (compulsory) topics aimed at preparing students to develop the competencies required to practise as a speech pathologist in Australia and many other countries in the world. The degree offers a range of innovative learning experiences, including extensive problem-based learning, laboratory classes and clinical placements. Students will be able to undertake clinical placements in Adelaide or interstate, including in rural and remote areas of South Australia or the Northern Territory.
