Course Details

The Master of Science (Medical Radiation Physics) is a program for graduates with preliminary education background in physics, mathematics, biology or engineering who wish to work in public health and related areas, and who have a need for current knowledge and technical expertise in radiation oncology and diagnostic imaging medical physics. The Master program comprises 12 coursework subjects and an applied research project under the supervision of professional medical physicists. Your lectures in nuclear medicine, radiobiology and radiation protection and practical classes will be held in hospitals by practising medical physicists and university academics. Our medical radiation physics (MRP) program is backed by clinical associations with numerous hospitals. UOWs medical radiation physics education and training program is the largest in the southern hemisphere. Our strong ties with industries and government labs ensure you receive significant industry exposure throughout your degree.
