Course Details
Master Degrees (Research) prepare students to apply advanced knowledge for research, scholarship and further learning corresponding to AQF level 9 qualifications. This research course develops through the conduct of a supervised research project the ability of a suitably qualified candidate to contribute to the knowledge and practice of engineering. At the completion of the assigned project the candidate submits a written thesis presenting the results of their work and discussing the significance for the pertinent field of engineering. The thesis is examined according to the Universitys Regulations for the Degree of Master (by research) (refer to General Information section).
Qualification: Master Degree (By Research)
Course structure: Master Degrees (Research) require students to undertake an approved research program leading to a thesis for independent examination; they may include advanced level coursework studies.
