Course Details

The Master of Philosophy (Arts) will equip you with highly developed skills in critical inquiry, creative reflection, with an openness to cultural diversity. You will be able to adapt to rapidly changing environments in the national and international arena, adopting new skills and knowledge throughout your career. This degree comprises 24 credit points of coursework and a thesis component in the arts and social studies disciplines. Credit may be awarded for the coursework component and will determine the appropriate entry point. Recent graduates of the Master of Philosophy (Arts) have found employment as policy analysts for government and the private sector; advisers to politicians; journalists; publishing; international aid; the diplomatic corps; heritage consultancy; legal services; environmental projects; community development; arts administration and academia.
