Throughout the degree, you will study medical nutrition therapy, which involves translating the science of nutrition into personalised dietary advice to manage specific medical conditions. In addition, you will learn how to develop community nutrition program plans to help improve the nutrition of communities. This course is designed to meet the Dietitians Australia National Competency Standards for Dietitians, including the key areas of professional practice, improving nutrition outcomes for individuals, groups and communities, critical thinking and evidence-based practice and collaboration with stakeholders.
