Course Details

The Master of Information Technology (MIT) at Sydney Met, an AQF Level 9 course, is crafted to align with the Australian Computer Societys professional standards, emphasizing both technical expertise and ethical IT practices. Developed with industry consultation, the program prepares students for careers in the digital economy, focusing on high-demand fields such as Cyber Security, Networking, Data Science, and Information Systems. Students can complete the program in 2 years (full-time), 1.5 years (accelerated), or 4 years (part-time for domestic students). Practical experience is embedded through capstone projects and work-integrated learning. For added flexibility, students who cannot complete the MIT may exit with a Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in Information Technology.
