Course Details
This program provides the knowledge and skills relevant to understanding both traditional and emerging security challenges. International security studies traverse a complex and frequently interconnected set of issues that have great salience for the world in which we live. These include the causes and consequences of war between states, intrastate ethnic, religious and ideological conflicts, threats to human security and the stability of states arising from environmental degradation, and the transnational security challenges posed by infectious diseases and organised crime.
