Master of Design - Communication Design (DMSP)


Course Details

The Master of Design (Communication Design) is a hands-on postgraduate qualification that equips students with a comprehensive understanding of the innovative, changing world of communication design. With a strong focus on adaptability and the importance of being able to respond to changing design issues, students gain advanced skills in areas such as web and print design, as well as emerging technologies and research processes. In conjunction with industry, students have the opportunity to work on creative projects, developing skills in writing project proposals and presenting information. A key part of learning relates to advanced research and students graduate with the cognitive skills needed to review and analyse information. Students may also complete an industry placement as part of an elective.

Qualification: Master Degree (By Coursework)

Course structure: 72 units; 18 units of research studio; 18 units of project; 9 units of project report; 4.5 units of research methods; 4.5 units of business practices; 4.5 units of sustainability; 13.5 units of electives.
