Course Details
USQ Master of Clinical Psychology provides advanced training in psychological assessment and clinical intervention and has been developed for students wishing to gain registration as a Psychologist with an Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Psychology. The coursework component is offered as mandatory on-campus workshops, with mid-week workshops at USQ Toowoomba and Saturday workshops at USQ Ipswich. Learn high-level clinical skills to become prepared for entry into the Clinical Registrar program leading to Clinical Endorsement. Gain practical experience in USQs Psychology and Counselling Clinics, located in Ipswich and Toowoomba, and provide services for the community including therapy services, and, developmental and cognitive assessments for children, adolescents and adults of all ages.
Qualification: Master Degree (By Coursework)
Course structure: 16 units: 12 coursework units and 4 practicum units
The program is for full-time attendance on-campus, with mandatory workshops. Once the first 8 courses (or equivalent) have been completed full-time there may be some flexibility to negotiate a part-time enrolment pattern for the remaining courses.
