Master of Clinical Exercise Science and Rehabilitation

Course Details

This program has been strategically designed as a National University Course Accreditation Program (NUCAP) accredited course. NUCAP is the accreditation body for Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA), and on successful completion of this program, graduates will be qualified to be ESSA accredited Clinical Exercise Physiologists (CEPs). Graduates must qualify for professional practitioner accreditation with ESSA to gain access to a Medicare Provider number and work as a registered Allied Health professional (e.g. Clinical Exercise Physiologist) under the Australian government's Medicare health schemes such as Department of Veterans' Affairs, Health funds or WorkCover. The program offers two options (by coursework or by minor thesis), which will allow students to choose between a course of study focussed on the application of research consumption for professional practice or by completion of minor thesis to maintain a pathway for higher degree study.

Qualification: Master Degree (By Coursework)

Course structure: 144 credit points: 8 core units; and 4 units of either minor thesis or research coursework studies.
