Course Details

The Graduate Diploma of Networking (GDNet) allows students to either update and broaden their knowledge and skills, or change their area of specialisation. Students will gain commercially valuable networking and project management experience, opening doors to a range of new career opportunities. This course aims to provide students with fundamental and advanced skills in network management, network security and project management. The course also emphasises the development of key employability skills such as communication, collaboration and problem solving. Hands-on practical work with Cisco, Microsoft and Riverbed networking technology is an essential part of the course.

Qualification: Graduate Diploma

Course structure: This program is the first year of the Master of Networking: 4 core units and 2 electives are required to complete the GDNet. Each unit consists of 20 credit points. A full time study load is 60 credit points per trimester. There is also a Non-Cognate stream which has 6 core units.
