Course Details
This program equips graduates with business management skills and advanced knowledge to enable them to enter the workforce in the roles of Line Managers or equivalent. It provides a sound basis for integrated learning of general management fundamentals. Building on the foundation units studied in the Graduate Certificate, the program requires students to further complete three units of study.
Qualification: Graduate Diploma
Course structure: 7 course units (39 credit points). Units: Professional Development and Ethics; Operations Management; Marketing and Business Communications; Financial Management; Human Resources Management; International Business and Competitive Strategy; Leadership and Change Management.
Each unit of study typically comprises a 4-day intensive workshop followed by project studies that involve completion of 4 major team assignments (whose scope vary depending on the unit under consideration). The assignments are conducted on real life projects/programs and or organisations where feasible. Students receive expert support during their project studies. The final assessment (viva) for each unit of study takes place upon completion of the project studies. The whole process is facilitated through mentoring and state-of-the-art frameworks, systems and tools.
