The Graduate Diploma in Psychology (Advanced) provides a 4th year qualification in Psychology. Psychology is the science of human behaviour. Therefore, it informs our understanding of a wide range of individual, cultural, and community issues, and underpins strategies to promote both mental and physical health, and success in interpersonal, environmental, and occupational domains. The Graduate Diploma in Psychology (Advanced) provides advanced tuition in theoretical and practical aspects of applied psychology, including assessment and interventions, ethics, and research methodology. The course may provide skills that are useful in a range of vocations or lead to additional job opportunities. The course specialisation does not meet the requirements for admission into a PhD or the Master of Psychology (Clinical).

Course structure: Applicants complete seven core (compulsory) topics. These topics address theoretical and practical aspects of applied psychology, including assessment and interventions, ethics and research methodology.
