Course Details

Graduate Diplomas prepare students to develop advanced knowledge and skills for professional or highly skilled work and further learning corresponding to AQF level 8 qualifications. This is an exit award only course for Master of Multimedia Journalism (MC-MMJRN) and Master of Multimedia Journalism (Global) (MC-MMJRG). This course is designed for people seeking specialist, contemporary journalism skills and knowledge that will equip them to work in the media industry. Students will be introduced to key journalism concepts and develop valuable communication and research skills. They will produce journalism across a range of media platforms using industry-standard facilities and technology. Students will experience work integrated learning as reporters for the Curtin journalism news website, Western Independent.
