Course Details

The Graduate Diploma in Event Management provides a broad overview of the events industry and is designed to develop skills and knowledge sufficient to allow graduates to play a significant role in the planning and delivery of public, corporate and other event types. The course is designed to expose students to best practice, current issues, and emerging trends in event management. Industry experts are engaged throughout course and assessment design, as well as in subject delivery, to ensure the integration of real-world practice against cutting edge theory. Research-inspired course content is delivered by world-leading academics and industry partners.

Qualification: Graduate Diploma

Course structure: All students must complete a total of 48 credit points made up of eight subjects, comprising three core subjects (18 credit points), three specialist subjects (18 credit points) and two elective subjects (12 credit points). The course duration is one year of full-time or two years of part-time study. Some subjects may be offered in intensive mode.

This course is part of an articulated program comprising the Graduate Certificate in Event Management, the Graduate Diploma in Event Management, and the Master of Event Management.
