Course Details

The Graduate Diploma in Design (Contemporary Art) provides advanced practical and theoretical skills and knowledge, and ensures students have the necessary business management and marketing skills needed to succeed after graduation. With state-of-the-art studio spaces and workshops, students learn first-hand how to turn their creative ideas into reality. They also explore theoretical, technical and conceptual skills linked to their chosen specialisation, and learn from national and international artists, writers and researchers.

Qualification: Graduate Diploma

Course structure: 36 units; 18 units research studio; 4.5 units research methods,; 4.5 unit specialist Contemporary Art course; 9 units of electives.

Applicants must also submit a portfolio of work, curriculum vitae and a written statement of intent.
