Course structure: Stage 1 comprises 6 core courses: Academic Research and Critical Enquiry; Communication: People, Place and Culture; Information and New Media Technologies; Business Studies 1; Business Studies 2; Mathematics and Statistics plus 2 elective courses from Design; Programming; Media and Society or Advanced Mathematics1. Stage 2 comprises 8 courses: Accounting for Business; Business and Society; Professional Development in Business; Business Law; Management and Organisation; Marketing Principles: Trading and Exchange; Principles of Economics; Quantitative Methods of Business. Students who complete Stage 2 with an average mark of 55% may enter First and Second Year of a range of degrees offered by the University of Adelaide or the University of South Australia.
