The Graduate Diploma is a requisite step towards the Master of Counselling degree which is accredited by the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).

Entry criteria

Completion of a bachelor degree (AQF Level 7) or equivalent in any discipline. Applications based on previous study or professional experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Academic International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - IELTS overall score of 7.0 with no band less than 7.0; Cambridge Advanced English after January 2015 (CAE): 185 overall with no band below 185; Pearson Test of English (PTE): 68 with no band below 68; Test of English as a Foreign Language - IBT (TOEFL IBT) - 94 with no band less than 24; Test of English as a Foreign Language - Paper Based (TOEFL - Paper Based) - 592 (Test of Written English not less than 5.0; Occupational English Test (OET) - (Post-Sept 2018) OET with a minimum of four B's (350-440) in each of the four components
