Course Details
UWA's Bachelor of Social and Environmental Sustainability is a Social Science and Humanities focused, interdisciplinary degree oriented towards professional practice. Through undertaking coursework that draws on the disciplines of Anthropology, Environmental Economics, Environmental History, Geography, Indigenous Studies, International Relations, Political Science and Public Policy students will develop a comprehensive understanding of the complex challenges of working with organisations, communities and governments in seeking to address and solve social and environmental challenges. The course also provides students with the opportunity to gain introductory knowledge into the processes that shape the natural environment, with the course design enabling students to select from units in earth and environmental sciences as part of their core program.
Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)
Course structure: 192 points comprising 32 six-point units. Students normally take eight units each year, four in each semester.
