Course Details

The Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) will give you a thorough grounding in clinical, developmental, biological, cognitive, and social and organisational psychology. This degree will enable you to work towards a career as a psychologist, as well as other psychology-related fields in the health sector and beyond. you will learn how to use interpersonal skills and the principles of counselling to help people with personal, health, vocational and social difficulties. You will also learn how to apply psychological theories to topics such as thinking and perceiving, motivation, stress, health and group behaviour; evaluate and understand tests that measure intellectual, behavioural and emotional states; and use counselling skills, coaching and group facilitation skills, and behaviour change skills.
