Our oral health therapy students graduate with dual qualifications in dental hygiene and dental therapy. Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)

Course structure: Qualification for the award Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy requires the completion of 240 units. The program consists of 230 units of core courses and 10 units of electives.

All courses are compulsory. This degree requires students to participate in clinical placements in NSW Health facilities. Students will be subject to policies and procedures laid down for NSW Health workers by the NSW Ministry of Health, including polices around criminal record checking. These requirements may include a WorkCover Approved First Aid Certificate, a National Police Certificate, a Prohibited Employment Declaration, NSW Health Code of Conduct Agreement as well as fulfilling any required immunisations in order to obtain a NSW Health Certificate of Compliance. Students are expected to comply with these requirements prior to undertaking clinical placements.
