Bachelor of Occupational Health and Safety


Course Details

The Bachelor of Occupational Health and Safety is designed to develop your expertise in the identification of occupational health and safety (OHS) hazards in the workplace. Your studies will equip you with knowledge, skills and initiatives in the areas of occupational health; occupational hygiene; ergonomics and human factors; and occupational health and safety management. In addition, you will have the option to select from a wide variety of electives to suit your personal needs and interests. Your training will include decision making, problem-solving and management skills that are highly desired by employers. The course provides you with a variety of hands-on experiences, including participation in worksite visits and 120 hours of work placement as a capstone project, ensuring you graduate work ready. Upon completion, you will be prepared to facilitate, educate and promote health and safety in the workplace. Study the Bachelor of Occupational Health and Safety full-time or part-time, online and benefit from the flexibility to gain practical experience and earn while you learn.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)

Course structure: 24 units (144 credit points).
