Course Details

The BSc (Nursing) - is a top-up program, designed to build on the professional knowledge and skills of diplomaqualified, practicing Registered Nurses. The program of study supplements the strong practical expertise of the vocationally trained Registered-Nurse by taking the study of research, evidence informed practice and the biological and behavioural sciences underlying nursing to greater depth. Emphasis is placed upon the development of professional nursing competencies and on enhancing one's capability at evidence-based decision-making as a member of an inter-professional team in a changing health care system. Successful completion of the program provides the opportunity for career advancement locally and for registration with Nursing Councils worldwide for those who wish gain international nursing work experience or full-time employment.
