The Bachelor of Nursing is constantly evolving with the changes in new technologies and approaches to care which means students are guaranteed an industry-relevant, practical qualification that ensures they are graduate career-ready. There is a strong focus on theory and practical experience, and students learn in a unique, on campus, clinician led authentic hospital and health service. State-of-the-art facilities include a fully-equipped emergency department and day surgery. This simulated hospital environment fully led by practicing registered nurses and midwives (clinicians), known as the Horizon Hospital and Health Service (HHHS), is the only one of its kind in South Australia.

Course structure: 108 units
Student registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia is required in order to study this program. Students who undertake activities where interaction with the public is required must obtain a current National Police Clearance and a Current National Criminal History Record Check (Child-Related Clearance) from the Department for Communities and Social Inclusion (DCSI). This certificate is valid for the duration of the program. On entry to the qualification students must confirm that they meet the 'Fitness to Practice in Clinical Placements' requirements.
