Course Details
The Bachelor of Music and Performing Arts will prepare you for a career in your chosen area of study, where you will have the opportunity to develop your skills as an instrumentalist or singer, composer, songwriter, music producer, tutor, entrepreneur, performer, or in other performing arts related professions. In this degree you gain a solid grounding in music theory, technology, industry, and collaboration, as well as choosing to develop your creative passion and technical skills in areas of focus such as; Performance, Songwriting, and Production. You will also have opportunities to network and develop collaborations with peers across a number of related disciplines.
Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)
Course structure: The Bachelor of Music and Performing Arts requires students to successfully complete 240 units, which is comprised of: 80 units of core courses; One 80 unit
With some additional study, graduates can also undertake careers as arts administrators, public relations officers, librarians in music resources, business managers for orchestras or marketing and public relations staff in the theatre.
