Mechatronics engineering involves the synergy of electrical, computer and mechanical technologies. Study technical design, automation, and operational performance of electromechanical systems. Mechatronics engineers work in industries such as defence, advanced manufacturing, mining and health. What is electrical and electronic engineering? Electrical and electronic engineers design and build systems and machines. These systems automate, control, generate, measure, and use electrical energy essential to modern life. Complete these two degrees in just five years.
Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Honours)
Course structure: Students in the Bachelor of Mechatronics Engineering (Honours)/Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Honours) are required to complete a total of, but no more than, 400 units, comprised of the following: 370 units of Core Courses 30 units of Units Project Courses Project Course List A - for students who have met the MATH1110 requirements choose either MECH4841A and MECH4841B OR ELEC4840A and ELEC4840B or Project Course List B - for students who do not meet the MATH1110 requirements and must complete MATH1002
It may not always be possible to complete this combined Engineering degree within 5 years. This combined Engineering degree is not available for midyear admission by international students.
