Course Details

This programme provides broad business knowledge and management skills to prepare students to join the ever-changing maritime industry. Students will be trained in the real world through industrial mentors, internships, company visits, professional talks, international study tour, etc. There are two concentrations, i.e. maritime finance and digital technologies. Graduates are well equipped with practical skills to work in different organisations, such as shipping companies, freight forwarding, logistics centres, insurance, adjusting, shipbroking, fleet management, pilotage, etc, at sea as an officer or on land as a manager. Additionally, this programme has been recognised by the Institute of Seatransport (HK), the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Logistics Management Staff Association.
