Course Details

Laws and Global Studies is a double degree that provides a solid foundation in the concepts, procedures and reasoning of the Australian legal system and the research, analytical and communication skills of the legal profession with the skills to be a leader in social change.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Honours)

Course structure: The Bachelor of Laws course consists of 156 points of study with 17 compulsory units. The remainder of the program consists of Law elective units, including 1 Commercial law elective and 1 Research project elective, selected by the student in order to tailor their course to their interests. The Bachelor of Global Studies is an interdisciplinary degree with core units built around leadership for social change. The course also offers a choice of numerous electives, for example, students can take electives from history, communications, politics, sociology, human rights, criminology, languages or anthropology. This choice allows students to further tailor the degree to their interests.
