Bachelor of Laws (Honours) / Bachelor of Biomedical Science


Course Details

Laws and Biomedical Science is a double degree which combines practical knowledge of the Australian legal system with an understanding of anatomy, epidemiology and preventative medicine, genetics, immunology, microbiology and pharmacology for a career in either field, or one which combines the two.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Honours)

Course structure: The Bachelor of Laws course consists of 156 points of study with 17 compulsory units. The remainder of the program consists of Law elective units, including 1 Commercial law elective and 1 Research project elective, selected by the student in order to tailor their course to their interests. The Bachelor of Biomedical Science requires that students complete 96 points of biomedical science units, including 14 compulsory units and 2 elective units.

If students are intending to practise law outside Australia, they should refer to that country's legal admissions board.
