Course Details

The increasing digitisation of Australian businesses' operations across all sectors of the economy has resulted in greater integration between ICT functions and broader business operations. Kent's newly developed Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) is designed to help meet this future industry need. This course is excellent for students who would like to broaden their Information Technology career prospects. It appeals to aspiring professionals, as the knowledge gained and skills developed and practiced are in individual and small team learning environments, equipping graduates for roles such as analyst programmer, web developer, database administrator, business analyst, systems analyst, and software and apps programmer in a business environment.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)

Course structure: The course consists of 24 units: 18 core units and 6 elective units from other undergraduate courses and specialisations. Full time study - 4 units (subjects) per trimester with a minimum of 8 units per year.
