Chemical engineers design renewable energy solutions, new and improved medicines, chemical plants, cosmetics and food factories. With high technology solutions becoming more and more central to innovation, maths and computer science complements the area perfectly. This is a 5-year double, not combined degree. Youll graduate with two separate parchments, a greater scope of career prospects and a competitive edge in the job market.
Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Honours)
Course structure: To qualify for the double degree of Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Chemical)/ Bachelor of Mathematical and Computer Science, the student must complete satisfactorily a program of study consisting of the following requirements with a combined total of not less than 120 units.
With designated courses from both disciplines counted towards the degree, the program can typically be completed in five years (full-time), compared with seven years if undertaken separately. At the end of the double degree, students will graduate with two separate parchments; one for each degree.
