Course Details

Combine your skills in computing hardware and software design with electrical systems engineering to work in a rapidly evolving technical environment. The Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Honours)/Bachelor of Computer Systems Engineering will prepare you with a unique skill set to work in a variety of fields, it also gives you the freedom to create a career of your own. You will work on the development of both hardware and software for electronic and ICT systems and explore the electrical and electronic design and build of various systems and machines. You might build smart grid systems to help manage alternative energy resources or work with key sectors of modern society, including automation, smart homes, intelligent transport, e-health, aviation, and civic infrastructure.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Honours)

Course structure: The Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Honours)/Bachelor of Computer Systems Engineering (Honours) is a five year program, students are required to complete 400 units, which is comprised of: 350 units of Core Courses; 30 units from the Electrical and Electronic Engineering course list*; 10 units from the Computer System Engineering course list*; 0-unit compulsory Industrial Experience; and 10 units of Elective Courses.

It may not always be possible to complete this combined Engineering degree within 5 years. This combined Engineering degree is not available for midyear admission by International Students.
