This degree introduces you to the rewarding profession of architecture. You will undertake a core program in architectural history and theory, communications, technology and design workshops, and access electives from across disciplines in arts, digital design, sustainability and urban design.This course is for students who have an interest in architecture and the built environment, with a view to become a registered architect. Students with a passion for creativity and design will find opportunities to harness and develop these skills throughout the degree program. Career opportunities: Occupational therapists (OTs) work with people who may have a permanent or temporary disruption to their lives, or may be at risk of developing problems with their daily activities. OTs also work closely with families, carers, governments and private industry. They work in many areas including hospitals, community centres, schools, private practice, private industry and work rehabilitation, and are usually part of a team of professionals. Many graduates take up positions in the UK, USA and Canada. Practical experience: 1,000 hours of clinical placement in hospitals, community centres and specialist practices over the four-year program. Placements occur each year, with longer placements in senior years. Placements may occur in holiday periods. At least one placement will take place outside of Sydney. Students will be responsible for costs, including accommodation and travel.
