By studying La Trobe's Bachelor of Criminology, you will: investigate the complex causes of crime, principles of crime prevention and policy, and how social factors intersect with our criminal justice system explore the role of courts, police, prisons and how deviance and crime are understood by different parts of society learn how to critically analyse the Australian legal system in its historical, ethical, economic and social context understand international crimes like genocide and crimes against humanity, and how they differ from domestic crimes enhance your graduate job potential by undertaking electives in case management or an industry internship, including on-the-job opportunities at organisations like the Victims of Crime Tribunal have the flexibility to study online, on campus or a mix of both build the foundations to transfer with credit into our Bachelor of Laws (Honours) or our range of double law degrees.
