Course Details

The Bachelor of Communication (Media Arts and Production) Bachelor of International Studies (Honours) is an exit-only course, available only to students who have undertaken the International Honours pathway in their fourth year of study. If you are passionate about culture and language and fascinated by the production of film, television, and other media, this course is perfect for you. Choosing your country of focus, you will get an in-depth knowledge of its culture, society, and language, putting this into practice in your exciting honours exchange. Plus, you will acquire job-ready production capabilities, developing the hands-on skills and experience that will help you become an in-demand professional in Australia or overseas.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)

Course structure: This course is offered on a five-year, full-time basis. Students must complete 240 credit points consisting of 24 credit points of core subjects, a 48-credit-point major and potential 48-credit-point second major (subject to application), 24 credit points of cross-disciplinary electives and a 96-credit-point country major choice. Students who do not meet the requirements to study the second major complete elective subjects.
