Co-designed with industry leaders, our double degree gives you a multidisciplinary set of skills and knowledge sought after by employers and policymakers - from learning how to successfully manage research and development projects to commercialising intellectual property from a scientific breakthrough. By completing La Trobe's Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Science, you will: develop critical capabilities in independent research, innovative thinking, cultural intelligence, oral and written communication, teamwork and leadership study alongside researchers at our Centre for AgriBioscience and La Trobe Business School, and benefit from facilities like the La Trobe Institute for Molecular Science and finance trading room choose from five majors in commerce - including business analytics, finance and marketing - and sixteen majors across a wide range of scientific interest areas - including artificial intelligence, chemistry, ecology, genetics and physics.

Course structure: To qualify for the award of Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Science, students must complete 480 credit points consisting of: 240 credit points of Commerce subjects, of which: 105 core credit points 15 prescribed elective credit points One, 120 credit point major to be selected from Commerce major list 240 credit points of Science subjects, of which: 60 core credit points One, 120 credit point major to be selected from Science major list 60 elective or minor credit points
