Course Details
The Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology (Honours) provides an industry-relevant, practical degree which provides students with an in-depth understanding of how to use exercise management to prevent disease onset and treat a range of cardiovascular, respiratory, metabolic, neurologic, musculoskeletal and cancer conditions. Students gain practical skills in the High Performance and Exercise Physiology Clinic, which provides support and laboratory monitoring for people with chronic conditions, exercise therapies for rehabilitation, sports science expertise and testing facilities for high performance athletes
Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Honours)
Course structure: 144 units; core courses 135 units; elective courses 9 units.
Students undertaking activities where interaction with the public is required must demonstrate that they have a Department for Communities and Social Inclusion National Criminal History Record Check. Interstate student placements require a National Police Certificate. Students are required to have a current 'Provide First Aid' Certificate (or equivalent) and will be required to undertake Child Safe Environments training.
