A Bachelor of Business in Sports Management delivers the theoretical and technical knowledge to effectively operate within the global sporting industry. You will investigate the historical foundations of sport, management principles, cultural influences and the role of governance in sporting competitions. This qualification will give you a keen understanding of how sport positively impacts local communities and wider society. This course is designed to equip you with the broad knowledge and skills required build a career in the sports management field. Throughout your studies, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of fundamental business, marketing and management principles, explore the role sport plays in building communities and analyse the importance of professional sport in contemporary society.

Course structure: This course comprises of 24 subjects, which includes 16 core subjects, including 300 hours of industry placement, and 8 elective subjects. Each subject involves 10 hours of study per week, comprising 3 hours of facilitated study and 7 hours self-directed study.
