Course Details

The Bachelor of Arts in Western Civilisation (Honours) involves one additional year of study following the successful completion of a relevant undergraduate degree. An Honours research project allows you to explore an approved research question of your choosing through extended study in the liberal arts. Honours study will equip you with marketable skills of value to many employers. On successful completion of an Honours degree, you will demonstrate your ability to produce a sustained research outcome, meet deadlines, investigate independently, use resources effectively and write coherently.

Course structure: The Bachelor of Arts in Western Civilisation (Honours) consists of 50% coursework for 24 credit points and 50% independent research for 24 credit points.
