High-level arts study and the deep insight into modern society it brings will complement, contextualise and enrich your legal studies. Course structure: The program consists of compulsory courses in the disciplines of law and arts which provide students with a sound understanding of legal, humanities, and social science concepts, processes and methods. In addition, students choose from a range of elective courses in areas of specialised interest in both law and arts. The Honours Degree of the Bachelor of Laws provides a deeper knowledge in a particular area of law, with a focus on high level research and writing skills. Students will develop a greater understanding of original research, and learn to construct, refine, develop and write a major research essay. Graduates with Honours will be particularly suited to careers involving research. The program is structured to incorporate a substantial research focus. The Bachelor of Arts (Advanced) with Bachelor of Laws (Honours) is an AQF Level 8 qualification with a standard full-time duration of 4.5 years.
