Launched in 1994, this is one of Hong Kong’s longest running associate degree programmes and over 2,000 graduates from the programme have successfully gone on to further their studies or enter the world of work. As English remains essential in Hong Kong as Chinas International City and gateway to the rest of the world, the demand for competent users of English who are able to meet the needs of the workforce and the community is therefore very high. With a balance of communication and language courses supplemented with digital communication and technology, the programme helps students develop the skills and abilities to match current trends in the 21st century, essential to young people articulating into further studies or entering the workplace.
